- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and any optional spices like garlic powder or smoked paprika.
- Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
- Brush the chicken with BBQ sauce and spoon ranch dressing over each breast.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly across the chicken.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top each piece with crispy fried onions.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier topping, briefly broil at the end of cooking. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
