  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and any optional spices like garlic powder or smoked paprika.
  3. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Brush the chicken with BBQ sauce and spoon ranch dressing over each breast.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly across the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top each piece with crispy fried onions.
  8. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
