- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, place the frozen hashbrowns. Let them thaw for about 10 minutes until they become softer and slightly pliable.
- Use your hands or a spoon to break the hashbrowns into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Next, sprinkle the crumbled bacon into the mix and stir gently to combine.
- Add the onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, and salt. Stir until the spices are evenly mixed in.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
- Pour the sour cream mixture over the hashbrowns and bacon. Stir consistently until everything is well coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Scoop out small portions of the mixture and shape them into compact, bite-sized balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy outside.
- Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
