Instructions

  3. Introduce the salt and finely grated lemon zest.
  4. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring until it thickens.
  5. Remove from heat, add lemon juice and butter, then stir until combined.
  6. If desired, strain the pudding to achieve a silky texture.
  7. Chill for at least two hours before serving.

Notes

Garnish with whipped cream and lemon zest for added flair. For a dairy-free option, use coconut or almond milk.
