- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
- Roll out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, ensure your butter is extremely cold and avoid over-kneading the dough.
