A delightful twist on the traditional grilled cheese using sweet Hawaiian rolls and gooey Monterey Jack cheese.

- 4 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes or crispy bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet: Get a non-stick skillet hot over medium heat.
- Prep the rolls: Slice Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them attached on one side.
- Butter it up: Spread butter generously on the insides of the rolls.
- Add cheese: Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet, filling them generously with shredded cheese.
- Close and press: Place the top halves back on and gently press down.
- Grill to perfection: Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melty.
- Serve hot: Remove from the skillet, slice, and enjoy while that cheese is still warm!
