- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
- Gradually add warm water and stir until the mixture is combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
- Once risen with bubbles on the surface, turn the dough out onto a floured work surface.
- Gently shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the crockpot, line it with parchment paper, and place your dough inside.
- Cook on high for 2-3 hours until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and cool before slicing, then enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free flour if desired. Store in a sealed bag for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
