Description
Delicious Oreo pops coated in chocolate and topped with festive sprinkles, perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips or candy melts
- 12 lollipop sticks
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- Red or pink candy melts
Instructions
- Carefully twist each Oreo apart, ensuring the cream stays on one side.
- Place a lollipop stick in the cream side of each Oreo. If needed, add a little melted chocolate to help secure the stick.
- Gently press the other half of the cookie back on top.
- Place your Oreo pops in the freezer for about 5 minutes to make them easier to dip.
- Melt your white and milk/dark chocolate according to the package directions.
- Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Immediately transfer your dipped pops to a parchment-lined tray. Top with festive sprinkles or drizzle with melted red or pink candy melts.
- Allow the pops to set completely at room temperature or refrigerate them for faster hardening.
- Serve your creations wrapped in cellophane as gifts or arrange them beautifully on a platter.
Notes
For the best results, melt your chocolate using a double boiler to prevent overheating.
