Description

Delicious cookies made with Oreo and Valentine’s-themed M&M’s, perfect for sharing love this Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
  • 7 regular Oreo cookies (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients: flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the Valentine’s M&M’s and the chopped Oreos.
  6. Use a large cookie scooper (about 1/4 cup) to scoop out approximately 10 equal portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes, keeping them slightly underdone in the middle for a chewy texture.
  8. If desired, reshape cookies into rounds immediately after pulling them out of the oven.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
