Ingredients

- 1 lb crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or dill) for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix everything gently until well combined.
- Add the chopped celery, red onion, and bell pepper to the mix. Carefully fold these in, being cautious not to break up the crab meat too much.
- Season your salad with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
- Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Just before serving, garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy it cold!
Notes
For a lighter flavor, substitute bell pepper with chopped cucumber. Chilling serving bowls can elevate the presentation.
