  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage links over medium heat until golden brown, then let them cool and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, and eggs until you have a smooth, thick batter.
  4. Pour half of the pancake batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the cooked sausage and half of the shredded cheese over the batter.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining pancake batter, sausage, and cheese. Pour any leftover batter on top.

Notes
