- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions and paprika for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides (approximately 5 minutes each side).
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any flavorful bits.
- Stir in the sour cream until well combined and let the mixture bubble for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Top each chicken breast with shredded Jack cheese and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish before serving with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of paprika.
