Ingredients

- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (25g)
- 1 tbsp baking powder (12g)
- ½ tsp salt (3g)
- 1¾ cups milk (420ml)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil (120ml)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
- Black gel food coloring
- Optional decorations: candy eyes, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, mini spiders (not edible)
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until smooth, avoiding overmixing.
- Stir in black gel food coloring until desired color is achieved.
- Transfer batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag.
- Preheat and grease a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
- Pipe a spider web design onto the griddle and cook for 2–3 minutes until firm.
- Cool on a rack and decorate with optional toppings before serving.
