Ingredients
- Frozen tater tots
- Ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- Cheddar cheese, sliced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Ketchup, for serving
- Mustard, for serving
- Pickles (optional)
- Mini buns (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the tater tot package instructions.
- Spread the tater tots on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy.
- In a pan, cook the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, form small patties, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Once the tater tots are done, stack a beef patty on top of each one and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top.
- Return the assembled bites to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
- Enjoy your bites with ketchup, mustard, and pickles on the side. Optionally, place them in mini buns for an extra treat!
Notes
For variations, try pepper jack cheese for a spicy kick or mix feta into the beef for a Mediterranean twist.
