Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the beef mixture, then sprinkle shredded cheese over it.
- Cover with tater tots, spreading them evenly over the cheese layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
