Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, aiming for about 1-inch cubes.
- In another bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic powder, and black pepper until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the marinade over the steak pieces, coating them well. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

- Remove the steak from the marinade, reserving the marinade, and add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Pour the reserved marinade over the cooked steak bites in the skillet and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the steak pieces for up to 2 hours. Pair with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
