Description

A creamy and cheesy stuffed mushroom dip that’s perfect for gatherings and cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 8-10 minutes, until they are browned and tender.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the softened cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until it melts and combines smoothly.
  5. Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and all the grated Parmesan until everything is creamy and mixed well.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top and transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve hot!

Notes

This dip pairs well with crusty bread, crunchy crackers, veggie sticks, or tortilla chips.
