  • Nori sheets (seaweed)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to macerate.
  2. Place a sheet of nori on a clean surface or sushi mat.
  3. Spread a layer of crumbled shortcake or sponge cake over the nori.
  4. Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the cake.
  5. Place a line of macerated strawberries across the middle of the sheet.
  6. Carefully roll the nori, starting from the edge closest to you, to form a tight roll.
  7. Use a sharp knife to slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
