Description
Wholesome and fruity snack bars made with fresh strawberries, cherries, apples, and chia seeds, perfect for a quick treat or breakfast.
Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cups strawberries, hulled
- 1 1/3 cups cherries, pitted
- 1 1/2 apples (Fuji, Gala, or similar), roughly chopped
- 4 tsp chia seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the fruit: hull the strawberries, pit the cherries, and chop the apples.
- Combine strawberries, cherries, and apples in a food processor and blend until mixed but still chunky.
- Stir in chia seeds until evenly distributed.
- Pour fruit mixture into a lined mold for dehydration.
- Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for about 4 hours.
- Remove mold and dehydrate for an additional 2.5 hours.
- Flip bars onto a dehydrator tray, peel off the Teflex sheet and dehydrate until fully dry, approximately 11.5 more hours.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, refrigerate for up to two weeks, or freeze for up to three months. Consider adding nuts for extra crunch or spices for flavor.
