Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the cream cheese, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat until everything is smoothly combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mix, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Create a small indent in each cookie dough ball and fill generously with strawberry jam.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
