Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (pureed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your donut mold pan to ensure easy release.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and strawberry puree. Whisk until blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined—be careful not to overmix!
  5. Carefully fill each donut mold about two-thirds full, allowing space for rising.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and strawberry puree, or dust with powdered sugar.
