A nostalgic dessert that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas and juicy strawberries with creamy layers of pudding and whipped topping.

- 2 boxes of vanilla wafers
- 6 to 8 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 container of fresh strawberries, halved
- 1 (5 oz.) box of French vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) container of whipped topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Slowly add the French vanilla pudding mix and milk to the mixture, stirring continually until it is well incorporated.
- In a large serving dish, start layering with vanilla wafers, then add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries.
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients, making sure to finish with the pudding mixture on top.
- Spread the whipped topping over the final layer to give it a beautiful finish.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Notes
For a prettier presentation, alternate the placement of bananas and strawberries. Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother mixture.
