- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes. Mix until well blended.
- Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch thoroughly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and simmer for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the chicken and sauce, ensuring everything is well coated.
- Top with chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds. Serve hot!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water.
