Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes. Mix until well blended.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch thoroughly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken to the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and simmer for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the chicken and sauce, ensuring everything is well coated.
  8. Top with chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds. Serve hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water.
