Description

A classic Italian dish featuring spaghetti tossed in a simple yet flavorful garlic and olive oil sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 46 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic turns golden brown.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, mixing well to coat it evenly with the garlic oil.
  5. Season with salt to taste and finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Consider freezing for up to two months, leaving out the parsley until serving.
