- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 4–6 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic turns golden brown.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, mixing well to coat it evenly with the garlic oil.
- Season with salt to taste and finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Consider freezing for up to two months, leaving out the parsley until serving.
