Description
A quick and satisfying Italian dish featuring spaghetti sautéed in garlic and olive oil, finished with fresh parsley.

- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic turns golden brown.
- Once the spaghetti is done, reserve a cup of the cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil mixture. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed for a silky sauce.
- Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt to taste before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat or gluten-free pasta. Add freshly grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
