- 4 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk the flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Layer the peach mixture evenly over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
