Description

A comforting sandwich layering grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and melted cheese between toasted hoagie rolls, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or relaxed weekend lunch.


Ingredients

  • Hoagie Rolls (4)
  • Grilled Chicken Tenders (1 pound)
  • Cooked Bacon (8 slices)
  • Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 cup)
  • Ranch Dressing (½ cup)
  • Dill Pickle Chips (1 cup)
  • Butter (2 tablespoons)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them attached on one side.
  3. Spread butter on the inside of each hoagie roll.
  4. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until lightly golden and warm.
  5. While the rolls are toasting, grill the chicken tenders thoroughly, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Place the cooked chicken tenders inside the toasted hoagie rolls.
  7. Top the chicken with 2 slices of bacon and a generous helping of shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle ranch dressing over the melted cheese.
  10. Evenly distribute dill pickle chips on top for that tangy crunch.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, swap out the butter with olive oil when toasting. Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add fresh vegetables.
