Ingredients
- Hoagie Rolls (4)
- Grilled Chicken Tenders (1 pound)
- Cooked Bacon (8 slices)
- Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 cup)
- Ranch Dressing (½ cup)
- Dill Pickle Chips (1 cup)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them attached on one side.
- Spread butter on the inside of each hoagie roll.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until lightly golden and warm.
- While the rolls are toasting, grill the chicken tenders thoroughly, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
- Place the cooked chicken tenders inside the toasted hoagie rolls.
- Top the chicken with 2 slices of bacon and a generous helping of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle ranch dressing over the melted cheese.
- Evenly distribute dill pickle chips on top for that tangy crunch.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap out the butter with olive oil when toasting. Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add fresh vegetables.
