S’mores Brownies

Description

Decadent S’mores Brownies with a chewy cookie crust, rich fudgy brownie, gooey marshmallows, and a drizzle of chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or regular marshmallows, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form your crust.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until blended. Gradually add the melted chocolate and mix until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the flour and salt, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour the brownie batter over the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges look set. Remove and let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with chocolate sauce and crushed graham crackers.
