- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
- Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce
Instructions
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Take a small handful of ground beef and press it onto one half of each tortilla. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the tortilla beef-side down onto the hot skillet. Cook for about 2–3 minutes or until the beef is browned.
- Flip the tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and fold it in half.
- Grill both sides until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted to perfection.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use freshly shredded cheese and serve with guacamole or tangy burger sauce.
