Description

A delicious blend of smashburger and quesadilla, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Take a small handful of ground beef and press it onto one half of each tortilla. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the tortilla beef-side down onto the hot skillet. Cook for about 2–3 minutes or until the beef is browned.
  4. Flip the tortilla, sprinkle with cheese, and fold it in half.
  5. Grill both sides until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted to perfection.
  6. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use freshly shredded cheese and serve with guacamole or tangy burger sauce.
