- 4 (14.5-ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of bacon soup
- 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Spray the insert of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of bacon soup, cooked bacon, onion powder, garlic powder, and shredded cheese until well combined.
- Gently fold in the drained green beans, ensuring everything is coated evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture into your prepared slow cooker, spreading it out evenly.
- Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 4 to 5 hours, until heated through and bubbly.
- If you prefer a toasted topping, place the French fried onions under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and crispy, then sprinkle them on top right before serving.
- Change the slow cooker setting to warm until you are ready to serve.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For freezing, do so before adding the fried onion topping.
