  • 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 2 pieces Onions
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 2 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 5 pieces Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Salt
  • 100 ml Water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Start by marinating your chicken thighs with garlic, ginger, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and salt. Let this sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Sauté Onions: In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add Tomatoes: Stir in the chopped tomatoes and let them cook down to form a thick sauce for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Spice It Up: Add the marinated chicken along with garam masala and green chili. Cook until the chicken is browned.
  5. Simmer: Pour in water to achieve your desired sauce thickness, bring to a simmer, and cover. Cook for about 25-30 minutes.
  6. Finishing Touches: Add lemon juice and sprinkle fresh coriander just before serving.
