- 4 pieces Chicken Thighs
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 piece Green Chili
- 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger
- 2 pieces Onions
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 2 tsp Ground Coriander
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 5 pieces Tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Salt
- 100 ml Water
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Start by marinating your chicken thighs with garlic, ginger, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and salt. Let this sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Sauté Onions: In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add Tomatoes: Stir in the chopped tomatoes and let them cook down to form a thick sauce for about 5-7 minutes.
- Spice It Up: Add the marinated chicken along with garam masala and green chili. Cook until the chicken is browned.
- Simmer: Pour in water to achieve your desired sauce thickness, bring to a simmer, and cover. Cook for about 25-30 minutes.
- Finishing Touches: Add lemon juice and sprinkle fresh coriander just before serving.
