Description
A perfect blend of spicy Cajun chicken and creamy garlic Parmesan linguine, ideal for family dinners or impressing guests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken and let it rest before slicing.
- While the chicken is resting, cook the linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Using the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the creamy sauce, coating it well. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve the creamy linguine topped with sliced Cajun chicken and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter dish, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Add sautéed bell peppers or shrimp for variations.
