- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works well)
- 2 green onions, diced
- 1 (16.3 ounce) can Grands flaky biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly spray a regular muffin tin.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked, draining any excess fat.
- Add the diced red bell pepper to the skillet, stirring for about 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese, mixing until melted and incorporated.
- Turn off the heat and fold in the shredded cheese and diced green onions until well combined.
- Take each biscuit and pull it apart in half to create two rounds. Place one half in each muffin cup, pressing down to create a crust.
- Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the sausage mixture into each biscuit cup.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Allow them to cool for 2-3 minutes before carefully removing from the muffin pan.
Notes
Serve with marinara sauce for dipping or as part of a charcuterie board.
