Description

A quick and flavorful sausage and cabbage stir fry that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausage, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks until browned.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onions turn translucent.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook until it’s tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, mixing well to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to swap out the sausage for chicken or tofu. You can also add carrots or bell peppers for extra crunch.
