Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage (any variety, green is classic)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional spices (garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite blends)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove any tough outer leaves from the cabbage.
  3. Cut the cabbage head into thick slices (steaks).
  4. Brush each side with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and additional spices.
  5. Place cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast for approximately 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for about 10-15 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
