- 1 tablespoon instant yeast

- 0.75 cup warm water (about 110°F)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes while preheating the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the loaf with olive oil or melted butter.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute olive oil with melted butter. You can also replace all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour for a heartier loaf.
