- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Dip the chicken breasts into the buttermilk, ensuring they are well-coated.
- In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Press the buttermilk-coated chicken into the pretzel mixture, ensuring a solid coat.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken on each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine cheddar cheese and mustard until melted.
- Drizzle the sauce over the baked chicken and serve hot.
Notes
