- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 package of seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and mixed vegetables. Mix well until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the seasoned stuffing mix, chicken broth, and melted butter until the stuffing is evenly moistened.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and spread the chicken mixture evenly at the bottom.
- Top with the stuffing mixture, spreading it evenly over the chicken layer.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and the dish is heated through.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a splash of milk to the chicken mixture. You can use leftover turkey or add diced jalapeños for a kick.
