Delicious bite-sized phyllo tart shells filled with seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, and melted cheese, perfect for gatherings.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
- 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo tart shells
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and the can of diced tomatoes with green chiles to the cooked beef, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing.
- Fold in the cooked taco meat mixture until everything is well incorporated.
- Spoon the filling into the frozen phyllo tart shells.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes if the shells are thawed, or 10-13 minutes if they are still frozen.
Notes
These bites can also be made with ground turkey or a plant-based protein for a healthier option. Great for parties and easy to make ahead.
