  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1-inch thickness)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter (divided)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for sauce)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour in one bowl and the Parmesan mixture (cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper) in another.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then coat in the Parmesan mixture.
  4. Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  7. Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, stirring until slightly thickened.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over, and simmer for an additional minute.
  9. Plate the chicken and drizzle with extra creamy garlic sauce.
