- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1-inch thickness)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup butter (divided)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (for sauce)
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (for sauce)
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
- Set up a dredging station with flour in one bowl and the Parmesan mixture (cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper) in another.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then coat in the Parmesan mixture.
- Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, stirring until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over, and simmer for an additional minute.
- Plate the chicken and drizzle with extra creamy garlic sauce.
