Description

Quick and flavorful Oven-Roasted Green Beans with garlic and parmesan, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 12 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the trimmed green beans on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  3. Make sure the green beans are in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the green beans.
  5. Roast for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly browned and the cheese is melty and slightly crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Top with chopped parsley and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve while hot!

Notes

To extend the life of leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
