Description

Deliciously juicy oven-baked Italian meatballs that are perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • Your favorite sauce for serving (marinara is a classic choice!)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated parmesan, fresh parsley, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix thoroughly until just combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 inch in diameter, and arrange them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and turn a lovely golden brown.
  5. Serve with your favorite sauce.

Notes

For the juiciest meatballs, avoid overmixing. Consider adding milk or Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor. Feel free to experiment with different meats or spices.
