  • Total Time: 90 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A delightful dessert combining chocolate cake, Oreo cookies, and creamy pudding, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 packages of instant Oreo pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
  • 2 cups of cold milk
  • 1 container of whipped topping (8 oz)
  • 12 Oreos (crushed)
  • Optional: Chocolate syrup for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until the batter is smooth and well-mixed.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely. Once cooled, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes evenly across the cake surface.
  5. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the Oreo pudding mix and cold milk until it’s smooth.
  6. Pour the pudding mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes. Spread it out evenly.
  7. Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour to set.
  8. Once chilled, spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  9. Finish it off by sprinkling the crushed Oreos on top. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving.

Notes

For storage, cover tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to one month.
