Description

A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish featuring chicken, cheese tortellini, and a flavorful spicy garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the cubed chicken to the pot and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer.
  5. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken thighs for more flavor. Frozen or fresh tortellini can be used for convenience.
