- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Incorporate the pasta and milk into the pot, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the pasta is coated in a creamy layer.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic. You can use pre-minced garlic for convenience. Adjust seasoning to taste based on the pasta’s absorbency.
