Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in the honey BBQ sauce and mix well.
  4. Add rice and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes or until rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm.
