Description
A comforting one-pan meal combining tender chicken breasts and egg noodles coated in rich butter and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the egg noodles and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the noodles are cooked and absorb some of the broth, which should take around 7-10 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, mixing everything together until well combined. Serve warm with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
