Description
A quick, delicious no-bake dessert featuring layers of cream cheese, bananas, and delightful toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 4 medium bananas, sliced
- 20-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
- 16 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 jar of maraschino cherries
- ½ cup crushed walnuts
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce
- 12 full graham cracker sheets, finely crushed
- 9 tablespoons butter, melted
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Lightly coat a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the finely crushed graham crackers, 9 tablespoons of melted butter, and ⅓ cup of sugar. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated and hold together when pressed.
- Firmly pack down the mixture into the bottom of your baking dish to form a crust. Set aside.
- In another medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ¼ cup butter, and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Layer the sliced bananas over the cream cheese, pressing gently to embed them slightly.
- Spoon the drained crushed pineapple on top of the bananas, distributing evenly.
- Top with a generous layer of Cool Whip, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Finish with a decorative touch of crushed walnuts, maraschino cherries, and hot fudge.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider a splash of vanilla extract in the cream cheese mixture. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days; not suitable for freezing.
