Description
Warm, flaky croissant rolls filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and savory pepperoni, perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package croissant dough
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 ounces pepperoni slices, halved
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
- In a small bowl, set aside the shredded mozzarella cheese for later use.
- Cut the pepperoni slices in half to make smaller pieces.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish or on the stovetop, mixing in the garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil until combined.
- Generously brush the butter mixture over each croissant dough triangle.
- Place a few pieces of halved pepperoni on the wide end of each triangle.
- Top the pepperoni with about a heaping tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, ensuring the filling stays inside.
- Arrange the rolled croissant dough on your baking sheet, giving them room to expand.
- Brush the tops with any remaining butter mixture for an extra layer of flavor and a beautiful golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Once done, let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
