Ingredients

  • 500g green beans
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse and trim the green beans.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the green beans and cook until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the miso mixture over the green beans, stirring well to coat evenly.
  7. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free version, replace soy sauce with tamari. Experiment with different miso varieties for varied flavors.
