Ingredients
- Egg roll wrappers
- Diced jalapenos
- Cream cheese
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder. Blend until creamy and well-mixed.
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper. Place about a tablespoon of your filling in the center.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper over the filling, pressing to seal and form the classic egg roll shape.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Carefully fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove them from the oil and let drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid bursting. Test the oil before frying. Keep finished rolls warm in an oven.
